Yep! That’s right!
Yesterday was my 25th birthday :) Started on Saturday when I received a lovely surprise: a bunch of beautiful flowers waiting on the kitchen bench. There was nothing that could wipe the grin off my face when I read the card. Thank you Luke :)
Thank you to Mum, Dad, Chris, Pop, Aunty Marie & Uncle Ian for my birthday money too. It will go towards my new laptop which I am getting MUCH use out of! Becoming a bit of a geek ;) hehehe Also thanks Mum for the care packages! The tim tams have been going down very well! Bought some Vegemite the other day, so no need to send some across now.
By Saturday afternoon we got onto the wine (what’s new?!), got dressed and headed out to the Elk Bar in Fulham for drinks! Had a great night out. My new housemates came out as did Spider, and my new mates from Sail Croatia: Jo, Dom and Kev! – Thanks guys! Made the night really great! :)
Got a bit tipsy (understatement of the century….) and enjoyed dancing away and catching up with people :) And misunderstanding Jo when a tray of Apple Snapps came past…Oh it was well worth the steal!
Paid for it dearly on Sunday when the hangover kicked in way too early….argh! But then by Sunday arvo we all headed out to the movies to see Shrek 3!! It is soooo funny!! Make sure you see it.

Was a great birthday and due to everyone making me feel so at home, I wasn’t home sick.
